Childhood passes quietly. One day they are collecting wildflowers, splashing through creeks, and carrying their favorite stuffed bear everywhere they go. And then, almost without warning, those moments become memories.
At Always Remember Photography, I create fine art children's portraits on a private 40-acre woodland property just minutes from Cranberry Township. Not snapshots. Not digital files. Finished artwork — hand-edited, carefully planned, and made to be displayed, cherished, and passed down for generations.
The drive itself begins the experience — a quiet country road winding through the trees, where a still pond appears like a painted memory at the edge of the woods. Then the landscape opens, and you arrive somewhere that feels magical: a private meadow, a pond nearby, a tire swing hanging beneath an old tree, and a path leading to a field where a wooden gate rests at the edge of the grass, as if waiting for the children to arrive.
I never ask children to pose. We begin with play. A simple walk that turns into laughter, sisters spinning through the grass, dresses catching the light, moments unfolding gently and naturally.
And somehow, they always linger a little longer than expected.
The artwork created from these moments feels less like photographs and more like memories — like pages from a storybook your child was already living.
Wardrobe plays an essential role in creating timeless portraits.
Many families choose to use my Children’s Wardrobe Closet, filled with heirloom-inspired dresses, soft linens, textured layers, and classic pieces that photograph beautifully in natural surroundings.
Others incorporate meaningful pieces from home — a grandmother’s dress, a beloved sweater, or something chosen specifically for the session.
Every detail is considered.
Every session is styled with intention.

While my studio property is located north of the city, many of my clients travel from:

Families who value privacy, artistry, and a curated experience often find that having a dedicated portrait property — rather than a public location — creates something truly special.
If you are a Sewickley family considering a Fine Art children’s portrait session, I would be honored to create something meaningful for you.
