What to Expect During a Creek Session

Children don’t need to do anything but be themselves. I provide gentle direction and a few simple props to spark imagination and storytelling, but most of the magic happens naturally—skipping, splashing, and exploring the creek’s shallow bends. Outfits can be simple and timeless: rolled-up jeans, cotton dresses, or even bare feet and overalls. While barefoot moments are always welcome, many children prefer some type of footwear once they reach the water. Solid-colored rain boots or brown-toned sandals are perfect—they blend beautifully with the natural setting and keep the focus on your child’s joyful expressions. You’re welcome to use something meaningful from home or select from my Children’s Wardrobe Closet, filled with pieces chosen to photograph like a dream.
