Recently, after acquiring several antique children's beds and cradles, I was inspired to create a series of fine art portraits featuring children at play with these timeless pieces. For inspiration, I turned to vintage postcards, which have always fascinated me with their nostalgic charm. As I explored them, I noticed many heartwarming images of little children kneeling by their beds, hands folded in prayer. The scene immediately transported me back to my own childhood—the quiet moments before bedtime, whispering my prayers.

With this vision in mind, I waited until I found the perfect little girl for the session. When I mentioned the idea to her grandmother, she loved it.  Our session began with this heartfelt moment—this little girl, bathed in soft light, kneeling beside the antique bed, hands gently folded in prayer. The scene was timeless, as if it had been lifted from the very postcards that had inspired me.
